Notes

This document is cited in corona1999 as “Cuentas de Guitarreros y Violeros (1580- 1698), Cuentas de Particulares. Sección Administrativa, Legajo 2° Letra G., comprising multiple documents grouped together in a single bundle. This appears to have been assigned a new number. Ana López supplied the current legajo number in February 2018, after seeing the document in E-Mpa.

Juan Baptista Medina’s documents appear since 1612, when he had became royal violero.”
