An accurate representation of a vihuela de arco with an exceptional leaf-sha[ed pegpox. The instrument has cornered waists., a tailpiece, no bridge, six strings, no frets, and six rear pegs, and an accompanying box with interesting characteristics.

The Latin inscription in the ribbon is interesting “Aliud plectrum, aliud sceptrum” indcating “either plucked or bowed”
