A brief registry entry in the documents of the Camara de Castilla affirming Valderrábano as a citizen of Peñaranda, and granting him permission to publish a book of “plainsong, polyphony and counterpoint” granting him privilege for a period of eight years. No doubt, despite the mistakes, this refers to the vihuela book.
