Notes

The title shows the continuing archaic application of the term vihuela to the 5-course guitar. Such a use must have been prevalant and common in the time judging by the continued use of the term in the twentieth century.

The prefatory instructions in the manuscript are literally taken from Fuenllana’s instructions.
