Inventario de Catalina de Bouilla, mujer de “Luys de Moya estante en las yndias del mar de oceano, vezina que fue de la dicha triana” Cited in schöner1999, pp. 98-99. Schöner draws attention to the quantity of her clothing and her expensive jewellery. Inventory includes a “viguela”. The valuation of her goods was made on 1546.02.24, (leg 2288, fol 186) in which the vihuela was valued at 2 reales [68 mrs]. Schöner questions if this may have been an error, really 2 ducados. It was bought by Gines de Carrión, described in other documents as a “maestre”. (leg 2288, fol 578)
