According to Bogaard2022, quoting from Romanillos & Harris, Ponç Morell of Valencia was making instruments for King Pedro IV of Spain in about 1353. He again recdeived an order for lutes, harps and flutes in 1378. He may be the oldest known violero of Valencia.
