Juan de Juanes (1523-79), painter
Vicente Juan Maçip (born Valencia, c. 1523, son of the painter Vicente Maçip. He is one of the most popular Valencian masters of art. It appears that Juan de Juanes studied in Paolo de San Locadio´s workshop [painter of 16-129] and went to Italy where he was heavily influenced by the masters of the Italian school, especially Raphael.
