Biographical information

Son of violero Felipe Díaz of Valladolid. Apprenticed in Madrid in 1588 to Pedro de Tofiño for four years. Juan was fifteen at the time, thus born c. 1573. See record for Felipe Díaz from romanillos2002, p. 99.
