Francisco de Castro “vezino que fue de la villa de anveres que es en el condado de Flandes”. Inventory of his possessions shows that his Spanish possessions, at least, were not of great value. He had gold and silver to the value of 14594 mrs. Included in the inventory are “una bihuela pequeña” and “112 cuerdas de vihuela de las de alemaña”. The vihuela was sold two days later for 51 mrs: “se remató vna viguela en alonso hernandes en rreal y medio”. [schöner1999, p. 99]
