calahorraZ, p. 329 • Guitarrero Zaragoza 1618. In the parish of San Gil, Agnes Lorenza dies, “mujer de Rodríguez, guitarrero. In 1619 the same parish book records the death of a boy “una criatura del guitarrero del Coso, frontero a San Francisco. Calahorra suggests that this was probably the same Rodríguez. He also suggests that this maker may be a son of the violero Domingo Rodríguez, active 1578.
