reynaudPT p. 409: 1585.04.08 Francisco de Haro buys from a Milanese merchant in Toledo 98 guitar bellies for the low price of 34 mrs each “prix que la rose, sans treillage ajouré, peut expliquer” [AHPT 43, f 459v]
romanillos2002, p. 179 reiterates but expands Reynaud. In 1585 he bought 98 bellies for 1 real each “noventa y ocho reales los cuales son por raçon y de precio de noventa y ocho tapas de guitarras. [AHPT Carta de pago 8-04-1585, Prot. 43, f 459v]. In this year he lived in calle de la Tintorería leading to calle Torneros. He also rented a shop in calle Solarejo in the parish of San Pedro for which he paid 2625 mrs.
