AHPT leg 1547, fol 488ff. 1570.09.03. Inventario de los bienes de Hernando de la Palma, at the time of his marriage. “una viguela grande y suelo y costillas de evano con su caxa pintada… una viguela mas pequeña con costillas de ebano” (fol 492v); una vihuela grande (fol 488) [maybe the first inst again]
The valuation of the first of these instruments is 3,400 mrs, the most expensive vihuela encountered by Reynaud in his Toledo research. Among his books he had copies of the tablatures of Narváez and Fuenllana, as well as book by Enrique, possibly Enriquez de Valderrábano. [reynaudPT, pp. 391, 397]
