• bordas1995, p. 53: Violero que Juan de Rojas Carrión intentó impedir en su oficio por no haber cumplido con los exámenes según se especifican en 1584 ya que le faltaba el “biolón a imitación de los extrangeros”.
• romanillos2002, p. 154:
Born in Madrid
1598, 9 October: married Catalina García de la Fuente, at the time living in his own house in call Toledo.
• He was one of two violeros who had opened shops in Madrid without having been examined on the three instruments “arpa biguela y violon a imitacion de los extranjeros” by the guild according to their ordinances. Both makers were ordered to close their shops and be examined on the “violon”
1602: Juan de Rojas Carrión approved the “violon” made by González Camacho. [see also Juan de Polanco]]
1607: foreman and examiner in 1607 when Pablo de Herrera was given his certificate of examination for a double harp [Appendix 7]
1608: a meeting was held in his house on calle Toledo when the guild members met to elect overserrs and examiners for 1608 and he was reelected.
1616: his name appears in a document about property.
1635, 21 october. Catalina de la Fuente died. She had been married for a second time to violero Tomás Pérez.
1636: His sons Alonso González Camacho (2) (violero) and Blas (silversmith) shared the sale of their mother’s chattels and the sale of the house on calle Toledo after a lengthy legal case.
