1569 - his wife Ana Gómez made her well. She declared that Juan de Borgoña had taken 100 ducados into their marriage, the proceeds of the sale of properties in Valladolid in the hands of his son Pedro del Agua. She named as her heirs Juan López (her son from her first marriage with Cristóbal de Castroverde) and Francisco and Ana Gómez, the children from her marriage with Juan de Borgoña.
1569 - Sunday 21 November, Juan de Borgoña married to Catalina Muñoz. A few days earlier, the bride’s mother, Juana Benavente, promised him a vineyard in Fuenlabrada, Madrid as a dowry, later rectified.
1576 - his son Francisco Gómez (from marriage with Ana Gómez), also a violero received his inheritance of 22 ducados from his mother’s estate.
1577 - voted for Juan de Carrión and Hernando Bejerano as overseers and examiners at the meeting of the Madrid violeros.
1578 - voted for the same two at the next meeting as in 1577
1584 - among the violeros who met in Madrid to draft changes to the Ordinances [Appendix 11]
1587 - overseer for the Madrid gremio
1587 - attended a meeting of Madrid violeros to change some of the conditions of the Ordinances of the gremio
1592 - 8 June. Died intestate as a poor guitar maker.
1595 - 27 October. His wife Catalina Muñoz died.
