A musician at the court of the Catholic Kings, described as a “tañedor” often a reference to a vihuela player, but not necessarily. He may have been related to keyboard player Gonzalo de Baena whose “Arte de tanger” was published in Lisbon in 1541. This may possibly explain why he called a keyboard player by some writers.
