A brief piece that could be a fragment from another piece for lute, such as a reciercar. Pujol suggests that it may be from a popular dance, probably because of the IV-V-I cadences in compases 4-5 and 8-9. The quasi imitative upward motives are more indicative of a polyphonic piece. The piece is Soneto XI in the Pujol edition (pujol1965).
