Commentary

Intabulation of the Hosanna section from the Missa Alleluya by Jean Mouton. Valderrábano reveals the author of the work, but without stating which of Mouton’s masses. The identification appears to have been made by Ward in ward1953. The intabulation follows the original vocal polyphony of this short mass section faithfully.
