The Rubric clarifies wht is implied in the table of contents entry for the preceding work: “Second fantasia on the secunda pars of the said motet Queremos cum pastoribus. Mode 5, third level [of difficulty]. This is another parody fantasia, with very free re-use of elements from the 2nd half of the prima pars: especially from the verse Quid tu vides and not secunda pars as Valderrabano indicates. Model: again Mouton. The work parodies the form and spirit of its model but remains actually quite different in detail. The closest resemblances are bars 35-39 of model (Anglés edn.) which are used as the opening of the fantasia, and bars 45-46 of model are directly parodied in cc. 34-37 of the fantasia.
