A setting in homophonic style of the opening couplet of the sonnet “Pasando el mar Leandro el animoso” by Garcilaso de la Vega. There is no indication that this should be repeated for the rest of the poem, although it is a very formulaic, almost recitation-like setting. Another setting of the sonnet by Pedro Guerrero is in Cancionero de Medinaceli (querolCMM, vol. 2, n. 83, p. 96), also intabulated by Fuenllana [fu127].
Pasando el mar Leandro el animoso,
en amoroso fuego todo ardiendo,
