Untexted, three-voice setting of a popular villancico. Another version with the same tune but in a different setting is in the collection Villancicos de deversos autores (1556), frequently called the Cancionero de Uppsala, no 49, in five voices and attributed to Gombert (uppsala1556): https://www.uma.es/victoria/varios/pdf/Gombert-Decidle_Al_Caballero.pdf (accessed 10 Jan 2023). Morales composed a Missa Desilde al Caballero, Cabezón composed variations on the Canto del Cavallero (cabezon1578, fols. 189-190).
