Short (45 compases), facile, transparent, charming. This fantasia is reminiscent of the style of Narváez’s shorter fantasias in Libro II of Los seys libros del Delphin. Its structure is in two periods of similar length. Episodes i and II combine to make a single: II is culmination & extn of I which is only an exposition.

In 3 sections:
• I (1-12) S – A – free – T Theme 1
• II (12-28) Themes 2, 3, 4 short running motives treated briefly consecutively, with a short coda (K) in compases 26-28.
• III (28-45) “suelto” theme S – T – A – (B) = (T lower) K. with simple accompaniment.
