The third of Fuenllana’s Fantasias for four-course vihuela. The tuning is as if the inner four courses of a vihuela in G. This work can be described as a monothematic imitative fantasia. It divides into three episodes. It is a short composition of 63 compases. Jacobs also calls this work monothematic, perhaps it would be better to call it a polythematic fantasia, with close thematic integration.

I (1-19) Theme 1 imitated canonically.
II (19-46) Theme 1b = head of 1. Begins with suelto appearances below a free rapid passage then becomes more imitative.
III (46-63) Imitations of theme 2 which is a motivation of theme I.
