Intabulation of the “Crucifixus” section from an unidentified polyphonic mass. The intabulation seems to be made for a guitar tuned as the inner four courses of a vihuela in G: C-f-a-d’. Fink (fink2010) proposes that the model for the work is the Crucifixus from Guerrero’s Missa Surge propera amica mea. This does not really convince me despite some similarlites. More likely, they may be different works based on the same cantus firmus or something along those lines.
