The second of Fuenllana’s group of fantasias for vihuela de 5 ordenes. It is a short polythematic imitative fantasia of 68 compases. The mode is not specified but appears to be mode 2, untransposed but with Bb. Fuenllana limits the scope, voices, range of work for the limits of the 5 course instrument. The structure may be summarised as follows:

I (1-23) theme 1 imit B/T – A – free – A – A – K.
II (23-51) theme 2 imit. Theme is narrow in ambit contrast to the broad sweep of 1. A/T – B – B then free from 35 – end of section.
III (51-68) theme 3 imitated. More akin to section I.
