Intabulation of a five-voice madrigal by Jean Conseil mistakenly attributed by Fuenllana to Verdelot. The cantus voice in notated on a separate staff in mensural notation and the bass voice is printed in the tablature in red ciphers. The madrigal comes from Gardano’s 1542 publication Il primo libro d'i madregali de diversi accellentisaimi where the attribution states “Cosilium”. Fuenllana indicates that the first note of the cantus part, g’, is on the third fret of the first course, therefore a vihuela in E.
