Commentary
Seventh of the series of fabordon settings by Francisco Guerrero. This one is in mode 7. Text is from Psalm 110 (111), verse 2 (“Magna opera”) of the psalm Confitebor, found as anonymous in E-GRmf 975, fols. 65v-66r, where the entire psalm is found (verses 2, 4, 6, 8 y 10, plus the doxology “Sicut erat” a 5 and texted in all voices (ruiz2022).
