Commentary
Third of the series of fabordon settings by Francisco Guerrero. This one in mode 3. Text uses verses 2 and 4 from Psalm 109 (110) “Dixit Dominus domino meo”. These are concordant with the corresponding parts of the anonymous setting of the psalm in E-GRmf 975, fols. 26v-29r, which has the even verses 2, 4, 6 and 8 plus the doxology “Gloria Patri” (ruiz20922)
