Commentary

Another of the Gombert motets intabulated by Fuenllana, possibly from the or the 1532 Moderne print of Motteti del fiore (RISM 1532/11) or the Ventian print of 1539 issued by Scotto (RISM G2977). It is one of five motets by Gombert chosen for intabulation by Fuenllana (Fu031, Fu039, Fu043, Fu045, Fu049).
