Song Text

Adios, verde ribera y praderia
adonde yo algun día
estando mas contento
que agora yo me siento,
olgava de miraros
y mis penas contaros
pensando que mi mal descansaría
Mas ya viendoos dire: paso folia.

Adieu, green shore, verdant meadows,
where, one day in the past,
when I was happier
than I feel at present,
I enjoyed contemplating you
An:\d tellin if you my troubles,
Thinking that my pain would grant me some respite.
But seeing you, henceforth shall l say: the follies are over.
