A villancico with clearly sectionalised estribillo and copla on the popular theme of the beautiful young girl, “badly” (unhappily) married in which the poet offers himself as a lover.In terms of musical style, it would appear to be more composed to focus attention on the instrumental part which is not set as if an accompaniment for a singer.
