Author’s bstract: Thanks to the information provided by the postmortem inventory of Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar y Mendoza, first Marquis of Zenete, we find the reference to a viola de mano that by the description coincides exactly with the Guadalupe vihuela, currently preserved in the Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris. In fact, we find both the name of Guadalupe and Ayllón as authors of some musical instruments that are part of the inventory. We also provide documentary sources that show that Alonso de Guadalupe lived in Valencia from 1508 to 1521, besides being known outside our borders as maestro de Valencia
