Bermudez is wrong in one detail on p. 24: Barbieri did not get it wrong at all. Barbieri understood that Naples was divided between Spain and France after the dethronement of Fadrique of Naples.
Bermudez invokes the missing Catálogo imperial of Fernández de Oviedo that was not available at the time of his earlier article on “La identidad de Ludovico”.
