Discusses an episode from Philosophia antigua poética by Alfonso López (Pinciano). Madrid: 1596. Epístola décima. Two women sing to the vihuela -- one old and ugly, the other young and beautiful. The latter sings romances viejas, the old one sings and dances a zarabanda.
The interpretation has yet deeper meanings as well, posits Rey.
